Family Devotions
This first family devotion was written by Pastor Ken using information from The Confession of Saint Patrick (actual 5th century letters) translated by John Skinner. Historical information and Bible Study are put in story for for the family, and a connection is made to an old traditional prayer.
This prayer was not chosen just because it’s St. Patrick’s day, but also because it’s a powerful example in history of a prayer for protection (especially from unseen dangers). Combine that with the story of Patrick’s bravery in sharing the good news, and a dip into the book of Ephesians and it makes for fantastic family reading.
