Camp Coordinator

Coordinates the annual Timber-lee camping trip in February: Carrie Cobstill

Nurture

Coordinates the Worship service and other special events (e.g., Lenten Banner, Mother’s Day, Vacation Bible School, Living Nativity, Easter Lilies, Christmas Poinsettias, etc.). Chairperson: Cathy Finch

Outreach

Sponsors Mission related and Fund Raising events (e.g., Food Baskets, Chili/Potato Soup Supper, Mission Buckets). Chairperson: Ginger Campbell

Witness

Gives attention to evangelistic outreach, communications, and witnessing (e.g., Baccalaureate, Quarterly Church Brochure, Welcoming Committee). Chairperson: Jamie Ward

Finance

Maintains the church budget. Chairperson: Bill Erlenbush

Treasurer

Pays the Church bills. Chairperson: Janice Cuba (Financial Secretary: Lyn Edwards)

Lay Leader

Fills in by leading the worship service when the pastor is unavailable. Chairperson: Larry Stark

Lay Leadership (formerly Nominations)

Appoints people interested in filling vacant chairperson areas. Chairperson: Reverend Ron George

Lay Member to Conference

Represents the congregation at the annual conference: Cathy Finch

Parsonage

As of 2001, the Parsonage committee was no longer an official committee. The Trustees chair handles parsonage concerns.

Pastor Parish Relations

Acts as a liaison between the pastor and the congregation. Chairperson: George Lewis

Sunday School Superintendent

In charge of Sunday School, choosing and ordering supplies, recruiting teachers, and maintaining attendance records. Leigh Hayes and Jamie Ward

Trustees

Identifies areas needing improvement in the Church and Annex and handles getting those improvements done. Chairperson: Rick Hayes

United Methodist Women (UMW)

United Methodist Women is the largest denominational faith organization for women with approximately 800,000 members whose mission is fostering spiritual growth, developing leaders and advocating for justice. President: Donna Clark
